Who we are

My name is Elisabetta and, with my husband Andrea, we discovered this corner of Puglia, where we used to stay in between some long holidays spent abroad.

With Pozzo Faceto (Fasano) it was love at first sight; we went back for years until we decided to buy something of our own and to create our future Buen Retiro.

Nothing in Pozzo Faceto disappoint us: the hospitality and discretion of the people, the genuineness and the goodness of the cuisine and the wines, the magnificent beaches, the majesty of the ancient olive trees, the paths to walk along immersed in the nature, the beauty of the white villages of Valle d’Itria, the multiplicity of sports that can be practiced (golf, horse riding, tennis, kyte surfing, diving, yoga, running, trekking, gliding and many others).

We chose this quiet village famous for the ” Santuario della Madonna di Pozzo Guacito “, far away from the chaos of the seaside villages but centrally located. It is around 10 minutes drive from the sea and from the main towns such as Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Martina Franca, Ceglie Messapica, etc.

For us, lovers of sport, of life in the open air, of the sea, but jealous of our tranquility and quiet, that are necessary to enjoy a good glass of wine or to read a good book, our villa at Pozzo Faceto is ideal. Villa Buen Retiro reflects our being and we are sure to welcome even the most demanding guest because we made it as if it were our home of every day.
